Olsson has named Sean Baker as the organization’s new chief financial officer. Baker will take the reins from current CFO Jeff Jenkins, who is retiring after serving in the role since 2010.
The engineering and design firm has grown significantly under Jenkins’ leadership. Olsson's annual revenue has increased exponentially, and the company has been named to Engineering News-Record's list of the country’s top 100 design firms every year since 2018.
"Sean’s experience, expertise and servant leadership approach are a perfect fit for Olsson."
“I can’t thank Jeff enough for his leadership,” said Olsson CEO Brad Strittmatter. “His dedication, tenacity and unwavering commitment to good financial stewardship have been instrumental to our success.”
Baker joins Olsson with a strong background in public accounting, finance, banking and technology. He most recently spent five years as executive vice president at First National Bank of Omaha. He initially led the company's enterprise digital business strategy before transitioning to lead the individual consumer experience, which included branches, mobile banking, mortgage and wealth management.
Prior to FNBO, Baker spent two decades with Cabela’s, including five years as president and CEO of World’s Foremost Bank, the organization's co-branded credit card program.
“Sean’s experience, expertise and servant leadership approach are a perfect fit for Olsson,” Strittmatter said. “I am excited to work with him to meet the evolving needs of our clients, employees and communities.”
Baker will take over as CFO on January 1. Jenkins will remain with Olsson through the transition before retiring in 2025.
