DENVER (April 17, 2023) – Olsson has acquired Enginuity Engineering Solutions, a full-service water resources engineering firm. Olsson and Enginuity leaders began discussions several months ago and the deal was finalized and signed today.
Founded in 2008, Enginuity serves a variety of clients in the public and private sector. Project highlights include city-wide stormwater master planning for the City and County of Denver and program management of the Emergency Watershed Protection Program in conjunction with the Colorado Water Conservation Board.
“We’re excited to welcome Enginuity to join our team members at Olsson,” said Scott Ingvoldstad, Olsson’s Western Region Leader. “Too often communities face cycles of drought, fire, and flooding. Enginuity is known for its expertise and innovation in addressing these challenges to support resilient communities. We are stronger together and look forward to helping our clients address plans and solve problems facing watersheds.”
Enginuity will eventually relocate from its Littleton office to join Olsson’s Denver location at 1525 Raleigh Street, Suite 400.
“We are excited about the opportunity to grow with Olsson,” said Jeffrey Sickles, principal at Enginuity. “This is a great match for our team. It allows us to combine the innovation that Enginuity is known for with Olsson’s horsepower to enhance our ability to provide expert water resources engineering services to clients.”
Effective today, Enginuity will become “Olsson Enginuity.” After a six-month transition period, Enginuity will take on the Olsson name. Enginuity’s staff, including its principals, will remain with the company. Terms of the acquisition will not be released.
