Fayetteville, Arkansas (August 3, 2022) – To accommodate steady growth in Northwest Arkansas and rising demand throughout the rest of the state, engineering firm Olsson announced plans to build a three-story office building in the City of Fayetteville.

Work recently began on the 39,000-square-foot office complex, located at 3537 N. Steele Boulevard, in the uptown area of Fayetteville. Construction is scheduled to be completed by September 2023.

“Our team in Arkansas has continued to grow, which requires more space and a modernized work environment that will continue to attract top talent in the area,” said Brad Strittmatter, Olsson’s CEO. “We also want a space that will allow us to meet the growing needs of our clients in the region.”

Sage Partners, a leader in commercial real estate, is teaming with Olsson to build the office complex. Olsson will occupy the third floor and most of the second floor. Other tenants will take up the rest of the space. Olsson has 65 employees in Fayetteville and expects that number to soon grow to 100.

C.R. Crawford Construction of Fayetteville is the contractor and will serve as construction manager for the project. Olsson is providing all civil site design; structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering; landscape architecture; geotechnical investigations and special inspections.

Olsson’s office space will include open spaces, conference rooms, “Zoom rooms” and a roof-top patio area. The office complex will include bike racks to allow employees to take advantage of nearby trails and will eventually add charging stations for electrical vehicles.
