When Federal Sector Leader Katie Underwood started her career as an Olsson intern, she valued the support from her colleagues and leaders to conquer new challenges.

“One thing I appreciated was the responsibility given at a young age to take things on that I thought I wasn’t ready for quite yet, but I had the flexibility and the support of coworkers and my team leader,” Katie said. “You never know what you might get pulled into that you end up really enjoying.”

Two decades later, Katie’s favorite part of her job is collaborating with experts to deliver excellent projects to clients. She served as a team leader and industry expert before her current role as leader for our Federal sector.
