Twenty-nine employees earn PE and PLA licenses

Lincoln, Nebraska (February 1, 2024) – Twenty-nine Olsson employees recently passed standard required exams and earned their Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) licenses.

To earn a PE license, a person must complete four years of professional experience under a licensed PE and pass the PE exam. A PLA license requires passing the landscape architect registration exam. The 29 employees who earned professional licenses are named below:

  • Lucy Ampaw-Asiedu works on the Industrial team and focuses on structural engineering for industrial clients. She earned a B.S. and M.S. in architecture from Kwame Nkrumah University and an M.S. in architectural engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL).
  • Nick Bradley is on the Data Centers team. He is responsible for mechanical designs for data center clients. Bradley earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Kansas State University.
  • Jonathan Carle is a member of the Transmission and Distribution team. He designs power and control systems for substations, data centers and industrial facilities. He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from UNL.
  • Patrick Deacon is on the Geotechnical team. He is responsible for project management, geotechnical reports and foundation tests. Deacon earned a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).
  • Drew Edinger is part of the Water and Wastewater team. She helps with water and wastewater treatment facilities design and sanitary sewer collection system modeling. She earned her B.S. in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
  • Greta Ehrhorn works on the Traffic and Technology team. She works with traffic management systems and intelligent transportation systems. She earned a B.S. in civil engineering from UNL.
  • Stephen Gnagy is a member of the Site Design team. Gnagy works with public and private clients to provide site design services. He earned a B.S. in civil engineering from UNL.
  • Taylor Goetzinger is part of the landscape architecture group. She focuses on project management and site design and earned a B.L.A. in landscape architecture from Iowa State University.
  • Sarah Hruby is part of the Roadway and Bridge team. She designs roadways and plans for public improvement and commercial projects. Hruby earned a B.S. in civil engineering from UNL.
  • Lauren Kitchen is a member of the Roadway and Bridge team. She focuses on bridge design and transportation structures including retaining walls and culverts. She earned a B.S. and M.S. in civil engineering from Colorado State University (CSU).
  • Adrian Li works on the Site Design team and is responsible for site civil designs and managing projects. He earned a B.S. in civil engineering from Arizona State University (ASU) and an M.S. in civil engineering and water resources from the University of California-Irvine.  
  • Ben Massey is on the Data Centers team and is responsible for project management and designing mechanical systems. He earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from UNL.
  • Ryan McCadden is part of the Water and Water Resources team. He works with public clients on water resources projects. He earned a B.S. in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
  • Geoff Matthew is a member of the Geotechnical team. He conducts field tests and analyzes soil to provide geotechnical recommendations. He earned a B.S. in civil engineering from ASU.
  • John Meyers works on the Data Centers team. He is responsible for mechanical designs for data center facilities clients. Meyers earned a B.S. and M.S. in architectural engineering from UNL.
  • Anna Miller is on the Transmission and Distribution team. She is responsible for power line modeling, project management and client management. Miller earned a B.S. in civil engineering from UNL.
  • Erin Murphy is a member of the Traffic and Technology team. Murphy conducts traffic engineering for traffic signals and timing, multimodal facilities and traffic impact studies. She earned a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Alabama.
  • Victoria Murray is on the Transmission and Distribution team. She conducts electrical engineering for power transmission and distribution projects and clients. Murray earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Arkansas.
  • Lizzy Potter is on the Site Design team. She manages designs for commercial sites and residential subdivisions. Potter earned a B.S. in civil engineering and a master’s of engineering management (M.E.M.) from UNL.
  • Arman Romanov works on the Site Design team and is responsible for site civil designs and managing projects. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in civil engineering from Nazarbayev University and an M.S. in civil engineering from UNL.
  • Emma Schneider is on the Water Resources team. Schneider focuses on stormwater designs and hydrologic and hydraulic analyses. She earned a B.S. in environmental engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
  • Mike Schoelz is part of the Traffic and Technology team. He designs plans for traffic operations and traffic studies. Schoelz earned a B.A. from Grinnell College and a B.S. and M.S. in civil engineering from the University of Missouri.
  • Dallas Schroeder is on the Geotechnical team. He conducts geotechnical site assessments and analyses to provide geotechnical design recommendations for a variety of projects. He earned a B.S. in civil engineering from UNL.
  • Kason Schwalm works on the Site Design team. Schwalm manages and designs land development projects for clients. He earned a B.S. in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
  • Benjamin Skaflen is part of the Water and Water Resources team. Skaflen focuses on floodplain work and hydrologic modeling and earned his B.S. in civil engineering from CSU.
  • Madison Stewart is a member of the Water and Water Resources team. Stewart is responsible for stormwater solutions designs and hydrologic and hydraulic systems studies. She earned a B.S. in environmental engineering from CSU.
  • Christina Thibodeau is on the Traffic and Technology team. She focuses on traffic signal design, traffic studies and intelligent transportation system projects. Thibodeau earned a B.S. in civil engineering from UNL.
  • Zach Turek works on the Roadway and Bridge team. Turek is responsible for roadway designs, stormwater drainage designs and Civil 3D modeling. He earned a B.S. in civil engineering from UNO.
  • Jake Vela is a member of the Site Design team. Vela manages and designs land development projects for clients and earned a B.S. in civil engineering from UNO.
