Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (August 30, 2022) – Olsson, an engineering and design firm, has been selected as one of the 2022 Best Places to Work in Oklahoma by the Journal Record newspaper and Best Companies Group.
The Journal Record and Best Companies Group have partnered to identify companies in Oklahoma where leaders have excelled in creating quality workplaces. They determine the best places to work in Oklahoma through an employee survey that is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Oklahoma benefiting the industry’s economy, workforce and businesses. The 2022 list of Best Places to Work in Oklahoma is made up of 44 companies.
“This is the second year in a row Olsson has been named one of the best places to work in Oklahoma and that is a reflection of our people,” said Jimmy Sparks, Oklahoma Region leader for Olsson. “At Olsson, we strive to create an environment where our employees feel valued and have opportunities to grow professionally so they can use their skills to help improve the communities we serve.”
Olsson has offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa and employs more than 100 people throughout the state.
To be eligible, companies had to meet several requirements. They had to be in business for at least a year, have at least one facility in Oklahoma and have at least 15 employees in the state.
Companies throughout the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Oklahoma. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated organization’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part was an employee survey that measures the employee experience.
Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data and determined the final ranking, which will be revealed in November. For more information on the Best Places to Work in Oklahoma program, go to www.BestPlacestoWorkOK.com.
