AWWA Southwest Section Honors Olsson's Hammond

Fayetteville, Arkansas (November 7, 2022) – Olsson Fayetteville office leader Brad Hammond was honored by the Southwest Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) for using his engineering skills to benefit the water supply field on a regional level.

The Southwest Section of the AWWA recently presented Hammond with the George Warren Fuller Award. Only a few Fuller Awards are given out each year on a regional level for “distinguished service to the water supply field in commemoration of the sound engineering skill, the brilliant diplomatic talent, and the constructive leadership which characterized the life of George Warren Fuller,” according to the AWWA.

Hammond has been active with the Southwest Section of the AWWA for more than 20 years, and he served as the chair of the section in 2022. He has also served as a board member for the American Council of Engineering Companies/Arkansas and the Arkansas Society of Professional Engineers.

At Olsson, Hammond specializes in design projects for water and wastewater systems, as well as other municipal public works projects.

The AWWA will present Hammond with an award plaque at its annual conference and exposition in Toronto, Canada, in June 2023.
