Olsson Names Michael Naccarato Technical Leader of Omaha Structural Team

Omaha, Nebraska (July 14, 2021) – Olsson, a nationally recognized engineering and design firm, announces that Michael Naccarato has joined the firm as technical leader of its Omaha Structural team.

Naccarato has four decades of experience leading projects on the local, national and international level with major engineering firms based in Omaha.

“Mike brings a diverse perspective to the team, having extensive experience in both the design and construction sides of the structural engineering industry,” said Ken Kilzer, leader of the Omaha Structural team. “His experience will be invaluable to the team and we’re excited for him to join the firm.”

Naccarato’s strong leadership background includes senior roles in structural engineering, project management, training and standards, and safety coordination.

He is an active member of the Structural Engineering Association of Nebraska and previously served as president and on its board of directors. He has also been involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Institute of Steel Construction and American Concrete Institute-Nebraska chapter.

Naccarato was appointed by the mayor of Omaha to the city’s Building Board of Review where he works to ensure safe and quality infrastructure for the community.

He has a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
