OVERLAND PARK, Kansas (Sept. 26, 2018) – Olsson, an engineering and design firm committed to improving communities, named Cory Clark as its transportation practice leader. Clark will be based in the Kansas City area and will also serve on the firm’s senior leadership team.

Clark joins Olsson with more than 20 years of experience in municipal and transportation design. He previously served as a transportation leader for a civil engineering firm in Kansas City. Most recently, he was responsible for providing planning and design services for cities and counties in Missouri and Kansas. He also has extensive experience in Department of Transportation (DOT) studies and design projects.

“We will look to Cory to accelerate the growth strategy for our transportation practice as we expand our geographic footprint in this market,” said John Olsson, executive vice president of consulting services at Olsson. “Cory has built strong relationships throughout the Midwest, and his knowledge of the landscape in the area and his expertise in delivering sustainable results should position our firm well for the future. His familiarity with alternative delivery methods is an added benefit.”

A 1995 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Clark served on the executive committee of the American Public Works Association (APWA) Kansas City Metro chapter; the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC)/Missouri and ACEC/Kansas liaison committees; and as a board member for the Platte County Economic Development Council (EDC) and the Parkville (Missouri) EDC.

Olsson offers comprehensive design and consulting services in infrastructure, environmental, field services and facilities.
