Monica Unger joins Olsson as Denver Site Civil Team Leader

DENVER, Colorado (July 31, 2018) – Olsson, an engineering and design firm committed to improving communities, announces that Monica Unger has joined the firm as team leader for its Site/Civil team in Denver. Unger will oversee the firm’s new, Site/Civil and Municipal Services Design team that will serve clients who are based in the Denver metro area.

“We already have a strong Site/Civil team in Loveland, Colorado, that works on projects up and down the Front Range,” said Len Swartz, Site/Civil practice leader at Olsson. “We established a new team dedicated to the Denver area to work with our existing team to maximize our ability to serve clients throughout Colorado. Monica brings a wealth of experience to our team, and the knowledge she has gained working on many projects in the Denver market will serve our clients well.”

Unger has more than 14 years of professional experience in the Denver metro area within the land development industry, including commercial and residential site/civil design and project management for both public and private projects. Public projects she has worked on include utilities, parks, trails, channel restoration, review engineering and floodplain management. She has also worked on several private projects, including commercial sites, industrial sites, schools, medical office buildings and residential projects ranging from small infill developments to large master planned communities.

Unger has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Olsson offers comprehensive design and consulting services in infrastructure, environmental, field services and facilities.
