Groundwater

Groundwater is the largest source of public water supply in the United States.

Below the surface of the earth lies more water than the capacity of all surface reservoirs and lakes in the country. Groundwater is desirable because it is often cheaper, more convenient, and cleaner than surface water. As a result, many communities use groundwater for their public water supplies.

Olsson creates solutions that protect and promote sustainable groundwater development for communities. We provide and study groundwater models to evaluate how wells and the potential withdraw of water affect nearby groundwater supplies.

Our services include groundwater mapping and modeling; management and planning; assessment and remediation; water systems monitoring; sampling; geotechnical investigations; and more.
