A vast majority of the water we use sits below the surface of the earth. Because groundwater is often more economical, more convenient, and cleaner than surface water, communities use it as the source for their public water supplies, agriculture uses it to grow food for our nation, and industry uses it to supply manufacturing.

Olsson creates solutions that promote sustainable groundwater development for all water uses. We develop and analyze groundwater models to evaluate how groundwater withdrawals may affect local water supplies. With these models, our engineers and scientists identify ways to protect the quantity and quality of this precious resource.

Our services include groundwater mapping and modeling; management and planning; assessment and remediation; water systems monitoring; sampling; subsurface investigations; groundwater well permitting assistance; and more.
