Keeping a downtown successful takes vision, collaboration, and hard work. Community and business leaders in Norfolk, Nebraska know from experience.

Norfolk, a northeast Nebraska city of about 25,000 people, recently rebranded its downtown into a vibrant destination for local food, drink, and shopping. But something was missing – a space to gather, relax, be entertained, and celebrate. They wanted a public plaza to tie the downtown together.

So the community asked Olsson Studio for ideas and guidance. And while we are motivated to design beautiful spaces, we are even more driven to help a community realize a vision.
